In a word, APHELION! The novel came out only eight months ago, at the time of this writing in mid-2008, and since we're just about to relaunch the whole Mel Keegan OnLine site, many readers won't be aware it was published in 2007. In fact, we suspect that a great number of readers are not aware of STOPOVER, and possibly even SCORPIO. A little research goes a long way. There are legions of readers who apparently believe Mel Keegan gave up writing ten years ago and hasn't produced anything since! They're due a wonderful surprise.

The most major news is probably that every book has been added to the eBook list, in several formats. We have PDFs designed for desk- and laptops, either Mac or PC; then a second range fof PDFs formatted for the hand-held screen readers which can use that format. Pocket PC, iLiad, Sony reader, Palm, and so on. We've also reformatted the whole range for the Microsoft Reader, which works with Pocket PC. In fact, they only format we don't have a solution for right now is Moby Pocket — and we've never been asked for this. (If you need this format, let us know and we can look into it.) Also major news is that every title has been rejacketed, and the whole series is now wearing its own uniform livery. See them all here, with a running commentary by the artist and graphics wrangler

Also new in NARC, this miniature website which is nested within Mel Keegan OnLine. For those who have been with us through the years ... you'll notice that everything has been rebuilt and there are rafts of new materials. For readers who are just joining us, simply — enjoy.

And new, too, are the collectibles. You can join the crew of the NARC-Athena, with tee shirts, crew caps, mouse pads, coffee mugs, bags, you name it. A great time is being had by all. Check it out in the Giftstore!
