Currently awaiting the conferal of his Doctoral degree, Mike Adamson has been an academic for many years, first as a student, then a tutor, at Flinders University of South Australia since 1993. Holding Bachelor’s Degrees in marine biology and archaeology, plus Honours and Masters Degrees in the latter, Mike has a wide range of skills and interests, and has presented academic papers at conferences locally and overseas.

Irrespective of one’s field, one does not reach the highest possible educational standard without mastering some elemental necessities, and a high standard of English expression is paramount. As a university tutor in archaeology, as well as a teacher of Foundation Studies (literary stream), Mike grades papers regularly, with special attention to written expression, and has assisted many students since 2000 as a private tutor. Mike was professionally assessed as having English of the 99th percentile, meaning that less than one person in a hundred in the community can employ English to better effect, and this resource is available to you.
